Based in Florida, the Veterans Law Center serves the interests of Americas 24 million veterans, wherever they may be.

Veterans need not reside in Florida or Georgia to receive advice, counsel, or support from our organization.  However, the Center is centrally located and within driving distance for most of Florida's 1.7 million or Georgia's 800,000 veterans.

NOTICE TO ALL SEEKING

LEGAL ADVICE OR LEGAL REPRESENTATION

The Veterans Law Center, Inc. (VLC), assists veterans and their families on a first come, first serve basis, based on the merit of the case and acceptance by our attorneys, and we do not offer legal advice or representation in all legal matters.  We offer advice and represent veterans in a very narrow capacity, and only on veterans issues.  We do not offer advice or representation in local or state civil or criminal matters, nor do we offer advice or representation in federal criminal matters. If you need legal advice in these matters, please consult an attorney versed in those matters, and the VLC suggests you contact your local state bar.

Unfortunately, the VLC has very limited resources, so not all veterans and their families in need of assistance from the VLC can obtain our assistance.  This is why support of the VLC is so critically important to what we do and the services we provide!  In many instances, because of our limited resources, we suggest veterans and their families contact their local veteran support groups, such as the American Legion, VFW, or DAV chapter (a link to these organizations and others can be found on our LINKS web page).

Seeking legal assistance is a serious matter.  If you attempt to contact us, and you do not recieve a reply or that reply is not in a timely manner (within 48 hours), please understand we are overwhelmed with requests and we strongly suggest you seek the assistance of another organization, attorney or law firm, as veterans legal matters are time sensitive.

The VLC conducts legal seminars for state bar organizations, veterans and private organizations, and only provides legal advice and/or representation to veterans and their families on veterans law matters upon a thorough review of their case.  Prior to any thorough review, a veteran or family member seeking advice and/or representation would be contacted by an agent of the VLC, and a written agreement outlining the representation, along with a consent to represent and release information, would need to be executed.

Under no circumstances should a veteran or family member forward any documentation or release any personal information to the VLC, unless an agent of the VLC specifically requests that documentation or information.
